About
The universe loves the determined and helps the person achieve their dreams.” This is evident in the life of Ms. Thanuja Palla. Her life was one of perseverance and passion for learning. After her schooling, she spent 13 precious years of her life volunteering for spiritual work. This was a transformative period where she had the opportunity to understand and learn the nature and processes of the human mind, the intricacies of human relationships, our connection with the universe, quantum physics, the efficacies of the human brain, and its impact on our levels of attention and contemplation.
These insights from her spiritual work became the foundation for her later career transitions, as she began to connect and support people from different parts of the world with the principles of improving one’s emotional intelligence, life skills, betterment of relationships with families, at work, and much more. “Suffering is never in fact, it is only in our perception of the fact”, “all learning is unlearning”, and “universe is dependently arising and dependently ceasing” were some of the principles which made a significant impact in the way she experiences life.
The year 2011 was particularly challenging for her. Her health took a toll, so she couldn’t continue hosting personal sessions or training programs. She had to discontinue her career as a life skills trainer, a role she was deeply passionate about. This was a difficult decision, and she was unsure about her future. However, she wanted to explore a different field that would present a learning challenge—this period taught her resilience and the importance of having a support system. After receiving encouragement from her family and friends, she started considering investing her time and energy into pursuing a career as a corporate lawyer. Although she didn’t feel entirely confident, she tried to stay positive and focus on the potential positive outcomes of this period, such as embracing humility and developing an appreciation for it. She pursued courses in secretarial compliance, taxation, and mergers and acquisitions. These courses armed her with a host of new knowledge she felt she could utilize to build a career by advising others. As a result, she developed an interest in corporate laws, capital restructuring, banking, insolvency, and bankruptcy principles. Being associated with some of the best minds in this arena gave her vast exposure to further her learning in the respective field.
In 2018, she started a Secretarial Legal and Taxation Services consulting firm under the banner “Samhitha”. It is a platform to provide services to various individuals, business entities, and corporations. The firm is guided by commitment, on-time delivery, sustainability, and authenticity, which are deeply ingrained in Ms Thanuja Palla’s approach to her work. Though they had hiccups initially, as any start-up would face today, they are proud to have retainership clients of over 100 entities incorporated as partnership firms, Private Limited, LLPs, etc. As she practiced, she began to connect her skills of having been a life-skills trainer to fostering values of empathy and resilience through producing quality work for her clients.
She secured an 85% scholarship at Pennsylvania State University, USA, allowing her to pursue her Master’s in Law with a concentration in corporate strategy, contract negotiation, commercial arbitration, debt finance, and legal analysis and writing. This degree has been instrumental in her career, equipping her with advanced knowledge and skills in corporate law. It has also opened up new opportunities for her, allowing her to take on more complex cases and provide more comprehensive advice to her clients.
